Our Story
A New Era in Co-operative Service
Navayuga Credit Souharda Co-operative Society Ltd., Pumpwell, Mangaluru, was established by four young visionaries from Mangaluru — Mr. Chethan Kumar B, Mr. Nithin Kumar Shetty, Mr. Ronald Jerald Fernandes, and Mr. Sharath Kumar Shetty, who brought together their extensive experience and leadership in the co-operative sector to build a society founded on trust, transparency, and member-focused service.
Having served in co-operative institutions, the founders gained valuable insights into the importance of trust, ansparency, and member-focused services. With a shared vision and a strong commitment to the principles of co-operative service, they came together to establish a co-operative society dedicated to providing reliable solutions and meaningful services for the growth and well-being of its members.
Meaning of Navayuga
The name “Navayuga”, meaning “New Era”, reflects the society’s vision of introducing a progressive approach to the co-operative movement — one built on integrity, innovation, transparency, and shared progress.
Inauguration
The society was officially inaugurated on 30th June 2022, marking the beginning of this new era of service with a commitment to empowering members and strengthening the community through trust, dedication, and inclusive growth.
